Thomas Vermer


Thomas is specialized in Belgian and international tax law. 


Thomas mainly advises private individuals (shareholders) and their companies on (in)direct tax matters, and particularly in relation to the structuring of their professional income, assets and investments. He regularly advises on highly complex issues relating to the Cayman tax, structured financial instruments and management packages (stock options). His expertise covers both Belgian and international tax issues. He also assists his clients with their requests for advanced tax rulings, as well as with their tax disputes.


Thomas is a member of the Brussels Bar since 2024. 


Before  joining Advisius, he worked for over 11 years in a Brussels-based tax consultancy firm with a broad international client base.


Thomas is also a lecturer at EPHEC (corporate tax and taxation of professional income) and a lecturer at the Executive Master in Tax Management at Solvay Business School (tnon-resident individuals taxation).


Thomas speaks French, English and Dutch.


Thomas’ academicals are law (USLB and UCL) and obtained an additional Master's degree in tax law (ULB) .
